Why are Uranus and Neptune Blue?

The intense blue colour of Uranus and Neptune is due to methane in their atmosphere. Methane reflects more blue light of the spectrum, and absorbs mostly near the red part of the spectrum. Both planets also contain hydrogen and helium in their atmosphere.
